What counts as an 'active portal'?
An active portal with an upload, download, or edit action in the last 30 days. You can archive portals at any time to free up your portal count. Archived portals retain their data but can't accept new uploads.
How is storage calculated?
Storage is calculated based on the total size of all active (non-expired) files across your portals. Files that have expired based on your retention settings do not count towards your storage usage. Storage size is calculated using the decimal-based standard for measuring data capacity, where 1 TB is equal to 1000 GB and 1 GB is equal to 1000 MB.
Can I change plans at any time?
Yes! You can upgrade at any time and the change takes effect immediately. When downgrading, the change takes effect at your next billing cycle. If you have more portals or storage than the new plan allows, you'll need to archive some portals first.
What happens if I exceed my limits?
We won't cut off your access. You'll be billed for overages at the rates shown above. We'll notify you when you're approaching your limits so there are no surprises.
Is there a free trial?
Yes! All plans come with a 14-day free trial. No credit card required to start. You'll have full access to all features in your chosen plan during the trial.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards. For enterprise plans, we also offer invoicing with payment via ACH transfer or wire transfer.
Do clients need an account in order to upload?
No, clients do not need an account to upload documents.
How long are files kept?
Files are retained based on the retention period you set for each portal. Once files expire, they are automatically and permanently deleted from our servers.
Can I download all my files as a ZIP?
No. Unfortunately, we don't offer a bulk download option at this time. You can download files individually from the portal. Bulk download is on our roadmap and we hope to offer it in the future.
Is your service HIPAA-ready or compliance-ready?
We take security seriously and have implemented multiple layers of protection, including TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest, and virus scanning of all uploads. While we are not currently HIPAA-certified, we are gauging interest and feedback from customers to determine if pursuing formal compliance certifications makes sense for our roadmap. If HIPAA or other compliance requirements are a must-have for your use case, please reach out to us to share your needs and feedback.
Can I export my files to Drive or Dropbox?
While we don't currently offer direct integrations with cloud storage providers, we are gauging interest to offer native integrations in the future.
